So, after a wonderful birthday dinner for Carla, we proceeded to drive back to her house to watch Dr. Horrible. We stopped at a red light, where a drunk (and possibly high) driver with a dog in his car rear ended Jaime's car, causing her car to hit mine, and proceeded to attempt to drive away while his car was in flames. Spring Break
I've been doing the relaxing thing, and it's nice. Crocheting my own lace. it's tedious, and I could probably never do it for profit (well at least lace as by the yard trim) but it's still fun and nice to be making something that I'm going to use on garments I'm making. I may look into making collars and fancy decorations ( Read more... ) -

Sitting here among my bags of stuff getting ready to head back to PA. Christmas was very nice. It's amazing how much you miss the people you're far away from, especially when you'd grown sed to seeing them all the time. So yay for hanging with family and friends ( Read more... ) -

So part 2 of the pre-moving went well. I now have a dining room table and chairs and a rug! Put a whole bunch of my clothes up in the closet. I'm still giddy over the fact that I have an entire walk-in closet all for myself! My clothes can finally breathe and hopefully not have to be put in out of-season bins. And so, the move begins. I'm missing the Cloisters meetup, which sucks. But it's gotta be done. At least in a few more days, I won't be living out of boxes.
