I'm sad that your neighborhood is so disruptive. Your house IS lovely. But I can definitely understand wanting a different space layout or less "stuff" filling up your space.
It's funny -- almost every time I get nostalgic about this house, something occurs outside (like a couple stopping at the edge of our driveway to have a "fuck"-laden argument, loudly) that makes me glad we're moving.
That, and as Tony pointed out, the A/C situation is a bit unbearable, the kitchen isn't vented, so everything's covered in cooking oil grime bc I no longer have the time to clean it every week, the single-car garage means that someone's car is going to rust after all these Cleveland winters, and even with a good 40% of our stuff thrown out/donated/in my parents' basement, it still feels cluttered. It's been a great house to us, but it is time to move on and up.
I can't wait for you to visit and see our absolutely gorgeous new neighborhood! (Nor can I wait to visit you guys and your new urbane apartment, but that may be a bit...)
