So far in the two hours I've been home I've managed to:
1. Break my camera
2. Upset my mom
3. Get a red light ticket
I really hope this week gets better from here. -

Our First Chicago Apartment
For four years we were those people who said we lived in Chicago when, really, we lived 10 miles west of city limits in what is technically a suburb. But now we've downsized from our 3 bedroom + den, two car garage, fenced in yard house with a basement to a 2 bedroom apartment in the city proper. What I obsess about
So, I haven't mentioned it to a lot of people, but my dad is coming to visit tomorrow. I haven't seen him or spoken to him in something like 6 years.
And our downstairs bathroom drains decided to get clogged last night.
I called a plumber in a panic this morning and he said he'd be by this evening. He's still not here and it's 9pm.

New York, New York
Last month my friend Kim was invited to go to New York to meet with the NYC branch of her office. That trip fell through but it got us thinking. Apartment Hunt Update
A lot of fun things have been going on in these parts but the most exciting (and terrifying) development is that our hunt for an apartment in the city is now over.
Yes, we found a place.
