Our First Chicago Apartment

For four years we were those people who said we lived in Chicago when, really, we lived 10 miles west of city limits in what is technically a suburb. But now we've downsized from our 3 bedroom + den, two car garage, fenced in yard house with a basement to a 2 bedroom apartment in the city proper. We're still on what some people consider the edge

I enjoyed the video tour, and I really like your apartment. And Jason's cameo. But where do the guests stay? (other than the guest bathroom)

Yeah, that's the one downside. It's why I originally wanted a three bedroom (or two bed plus den) but do you know how hard it is to find a three bedroom apartment??? It's like finding the Holy Grail.

So, we have an air mattress.

And, I am truly jealous of your reduction in commute time. I'm still at 1 hour commute time from my neighborhood in San Francisco to downtown Oakland-but refuse to move out of the city.

We're technically in the West Loop but so close to Greektown it really makes no difference.
