What I obsess about

So, I haven't mentioned it to a lot of people, but my dad is coming to visit tomorrow. I haven't seen him or spoken to him in something like 6 years.

And our downstairs bathroom drains decided to get clogged last night.

I called a plumber in a panic this morning and he said he'd be by this evening. He's still not here and it's 9pm.

HOLY CRAP. And I'm not talking about the drain.

How did this come about? (again, not the drain)

It started at Christmas when he sent me a letter asking me to come visit them. Since we already had Christmas plans I told him that wouldn't work. He then offered to have me come down over Jason's Spring Break. Originally, though, I thought I'd be having hip surgery that week. So my dad offered to come here. In the end, the surgeon canceled on me but my dad's still coming.

No, I don't fully know why I said yes to a visit.
