Saw your post on hot_fashion where I gave you some shopping advice! And I had to come here and let you know to AVOID Leicster Square! The clubs around there are just plain shit. All really mainstreamy blah music and too expensive.
Judging by your music taste I think you would much perfer After Skool Club and Trash.
After Skool Club is in Holborn and is run by a student union so its really cheap. £2bottled drinks and really good music with anything from indie to electroclash. Really relaxed crowd and spread out venue. It is on Saturday nights.
As for Trash its on Monday nights and is grand. It is over in Bloomsburry right by the Tottenham Court Road tube station. It plays a bit of the same music as After Skool Club but more obscure stuff too. The crowd is more posh and they do have a dresscode. So don't come in jeans and trainers or you will be turned away!
I stayed in a hotel last year on Hogarth Road in Earl's Court ... had dinner one night in a very good Indian restaurant, but I don't remember the name. It's not that long of a street though. St Paul's Cathedral is wonderful to walk up to the top of -- the view is brilliant!
(hmmm... and I never finished typing up the trip journal I kept while I was in the UK...)
