Thanks so much! I think I even have all the ingredients too (except brown sugar.) I'm guessing bittersweet chocolate is the same as chocolate with a high cocoa content? Because I have some of that stuff and it sure is bitter! For the recipe exchange thing, I know you're vegitarian, but is the other person you listed also vegitarian or vegan or anything?
I want to cry. My oven is broken. I called it in to be repaired and they said it won't be fixed until late next week. :( My broiler works but it just won't stay lit for the oven. I'm trying to talk Kevin into buying a toaster oven. Then I can make a small batch. I also have a Valentine's party for Mom's club and I had planned on baking stuff. Now I need no bake ideas. :( Good thing I don't need the oven for Friday's fondue cooking class that I'm hosting.
Oh no! You don't have a toaster oven! I couldn't live without mine. I think I use it more than I do my oven. I've never used it for baking, though, since I like to bake in big batches. Maybe you can "borrow" someone's oven? Invite yourself over for a baking session. ^_^
Wowie, that looks good! I ♥ the chili/chocolate combination. I've tried the Choxie squares...the milk chocolate/chili one was okay. I wished it was spicier. Haha!
I like Rachael Ray's recipes...they're generally easy. I might have to try the boxed-mix chili brownies some time. Thanks for sharing these!
I'm definitely going to start adding chili powder to box mix brownies from now on. Less work, but the same taste, I'm sure, especially if I go for the Hershey's Special Dark Brownie mix.
