I got quite the scare today when I tried to fully uninstall a program my mom had tried to rough-uproot earlier (a firewall, by the way; genius, my mom). The computer refused to boot and would only let me into the BIOS, not Safe Mode or System Recovery. Thankfully, Matt is tons smarter than I am, and helped fix the problem. We play online... one of our players lives in Pacific Time, and we're all in Eastern, so. I'd invite you, but I don't know how the DM would feel about taking more players (I already invited one).

screw D&D (though it was my bread and butter for almost a decade)

you need, yes need, to start in on the old-school white wolf werewolf-apocolypse system. should be cheap now to buy, and i think you can find 90% of it online anyway. best dice engine ever, amazing world, endless tweaking and customization, and it is way more fun to play some shapechanging warrior against the insane forces of corruption than it is to play an elf.

and my favorite D&D character was a mul psionic in a Dark Sun campaign. he kicked such ass. its so much fun to melt a guys armor right to him.

in any case D&D is to White wolf as a skateboard is to a solid-gold skateboard. and i usually went human as well, or mul. elves were always a little namby-pamby 4 me.
