Read aloud (but had read for myself previously):
1. Ordinary Magic
2-? multiple Nancy Drew
I have the feeling I'm forgetting some read-alouds.
Started but didn't finish:
1. Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey (was using it as a placeholder until I could find my Kindle - was in the middle of Republic of Thieves at the time)
2. All the Paths of Shadow by Frank Tuttle - just got it for Christmas, but am temporarily setting it aside while I read some library books
3. Blood Red by Mercedes Lackey - the aforementioned library book. Obviously, I haven't gotten very far yet. :P
4. The Explosive Child by Ross Greene - read to midpoint, but need to implement some things at home before it makes sense to read further
I would have liked to have completed more books, but it's not any worse than I've done in some previous years. I've managed to get into the mid-40s several times, though, so it's a little disappointing this wasn't one of those years.
In news - the news from the AirAsia flight just breaks my heart. :(
To my friends in Australia and east Asia, Happy New Year! (I'll probably do my usual end-of-year meme tomorrow, but it'll be past New Year's in your area by then.) Have a safe and happy celebration.
