Well, tomorrow it will be a week that my father's been home from the rehabilitation centre. He's doing okay. Still walking with a cane or a walker, and he gets tired easily. He still can't eat a lot of things--vegetables have to be cooked to death, lest they irritate his gastrointestinal system and cause a relapse of the bleeding issue. But he's ( Read more... )

Sorry I've not posted in a while. They never really found exactly where in the gastrointestinal system my da was bleeding, but it seems to have finally healed up on its own. They cleared him to start eating solid food again last weekend and, as his blood pressure and haemoglobin stayed okay and all of that, they cleared him to go back to the ( Read more... )
