Went to the Nutcrackers... Suite

Yesterday I went with my family to see The Nutcracker. It was for my grandma's birthday. She was so happy when she found out we were taking her. She was telling me about being in the play when she was the age of 4.  It was an okay show but I like Spreckels Nutcracker better.  Afterward we went out for Chinese where I had octopus. I've never tried octopus, I've had calamari a few times and it's definitely better to get it on the west coast as opposed the prairies - but I liked it ok, how do you think the two would compare?
