It's worth noting--the last question posed to me after I finished the survey was to rate which was of greater import: "To bring the greatest amount of happiness to the greatest amount of people" or "To follow the revealed law of God." I had a hard time deciding between these two because I did not see why these two goals need in any way conflict

What do you mean "Eeww"? Why did Christ preach any gospel except to reform and to renew the human creature? If all men were Christian and practiced all the tenants of their faith as they ought, we would have a perfect society--there would be no crime, no war, no poverty.
