 I absolutely love this "barely French" bedroom. It makes me look forward to the day when I can finally own my own house and decorate the rooms as I want to.

I meant to reply to this forever ago. Sigh! I blame the fact that I have email on my phone now and open everything immediately and subsequently forget about it approximately 12 seconds later.

I haven't ever really been to a flea market. But I have been to some lovely antique stores - the problem being that the furniture always seems overpriced. What I'd love to do when I finally have my own place, is drive around on garbage day and pick up all the cool pieces of furniture people leave in the alleys around here.

I like the 'victorian nightmare' tag. And I love how comfortable the television looks in the middle of that kitchen, like it's happy to have found a spot where it doesn't look horribly outdated.

Replying to this weeks later, lol. And I just looked at that second picture again and was hit with how strange it all looks as a snapshot. The TV looks so completely old - yet, I use it every day and barely notice.
