-hurriedly brushes her hair down, fixes her shirt, makes sure nothing's in her teeth-

-peers out the window every few minutes-

-tries to finish putting some makeup on-

-waits for the water to boil-

-starts chopping up vegetables and slicing bread and cheese-

[attaturk]

[rubs his chin]

[leans farther over, but he can't tell what's going on in the kitchen]

...

[stands and takes a small, neatly wrapped chocolate out of his pocket and arranges it, not so noticeably, nearby]

-comes back with a tray of food, two cups of tea, a teapot and various preserves-

I-I'm not sure how you like your tea, but you add hot water to your cup to dilute the tea to your liking. Then you can add preserves, if you--

-her eyes trail off to the chocolate on the table-

Ah!

[grins and sits as if there were nothing out of the ordinary and doesn't let his eyes stray to the chocolate]

Sure, jus' follow how you do it! See ya got a lot to choose from!

-shakes her head, puts the tray down and grabs the teapot-

S-sometimes I like mine with preserves, but most of the time I drink it as is.

-waits for him to pick up a cup-

[attaturk]

[picks up his tea cup and holds it out]

Like to try it. Gotta advise me what's best, then!

-pours the water up to the top-

Strawberry and raspberry is always lovely. Usually I like lemon with mine.

-pours water into her own cup and takes a spoon of lemon preserve-

[attaturk]

Hmmm~

[sits back and seriously consults the preserves]

[glances at her]

Thinkin' raspberry! This time 'round!

[takes the spoon and adds some to his cup]

-waits for him to take a sip-

Oh! U-um...

-picks up the tray of food-

I-if you're hungry.

[attaturk]

[has just taken a sip when you offer him]

[blinks hard from the heat of the tea but gives her a nod about the food]

-takes a quick sip, puts her cup down and hands the tray to him along with a plate-

[attaturk]

The whole--?!

[sets his teacup on the tray and accepts it and hurriedly takes the plate you offer him as well]

Right!

[looks to her again]

[young_prosvita]

-tries not to laugh-

I meant you could take as much as you like.

[attaturk]

[sets the tray back down]

Knew that! Just, uhhh, wanted to get a closer look!

[dutifully looks down at the tray]

[...and removes his teacup from it]

-picks her cup back up and quietly laughs into it-
