-tries to finish putting some makeup on-

-looks up from her teacup and laughs again, a little louder-

Now here I am at the chef's mercy an' she's laughin' at me!

-bites down on her lip and stares back down into her teacup-

I'm so...

I-I'm sorr...

-starts laughing again-

[attaturk]

[shakes his head at her, hiding a grin]

Takin' advantage of me not knowin'! Huh!!

[gives the tray a hard stare]

Figure it out if I jus' look long enough!

-looks down, trying hard not to smile-

I-I'm very sorry.

I made a cake, but that's still cooling.

...Knew that's what it was! Whole time!

[puts some on his plate]

-finishes her tea-

Oh! Your jacket!

-reaches over to take the jacket from next to him-

[sets his plate down precariously and half-rises to hand it to her...]
