they are undeniably one of the greatest and most under-rated bands ever.
i was playing some coil at work tonight and three people who are not into any music remotely similar all fell in love with it.

"when you listen to coil, do you think of music?" is from a sticker that came with a 12" i bought years ago. i did a trade with this guy in arkansas and gave him a bunch of old 80s pop stuff for some experimental LPs, he included the post cards and stickers and everything! i felt i'd cheated him on the deal!

i've heard that t.r. is at least somewhat related to the company's namesake. which really isn't all that surprising for a number of reasons.
