I'm a lucky guy. I've got friends who were willing to go through the stuff that was left and set aside, sort it out, price it, and come and run a garage sale yesterday. Second... your friends rock. They understand and will be there when you need. This is a GOOD thing.

I think in the end, you will find selling and moving out of your house will be gutwrenching and rather cathartic as well as sealing a major chapter. It might also be a huge chunk of closure at the same time.

I agree; my friends are simply amazing.

I think you're right about what it'll be with regard to the house. I'm just glad I don't have to make that decision right now.

This is just another step to eventually getting to a point where it will not completely hurt every time you have to do something like this. I am glad that you have such good friends out there to help you through this, especially those that are willing to run the garage sell when they can see it is something that you could not handle at this point.
