Today I'm feeling down. So down I can't believe it. My car broke yesterday and I don't have much more money to get it fixed. It's something with the engine so it's really bad and it would be really expensive. The problem is that I move next weekend to cologne, with my hubby, and we need all our money (especially when there's not much left) for the ( Read more... )

Hi! First of all: Thanks for friending me! :)

I'm sorry that your car broke. I hope you can get it fixed somehow!

Your art is so beautiful! I love Draco in the second picture. <3

Sorry your car broke down! My family knows exactly how that feels. :(

As for your pictures, they're great! I LOVE the detail of the hair in the second picture. :>

Thank you for commenting! I love the hair too, it took me some time and yesterday I noticed that I forgot which brush I used to paint the fine strands. (there is a great variety of brushes in Painter and I can't remember them all).. So: *doh*

Wow, what a review! Thanks!!!!!
I'm happy that you think the pubic hair in the first image is ok - I was a bit confused.
This background image is a photo I took of a forest nearby and quickly changed it a bit in Photoshop (because I can't paint forest and trees and all... ) - that this makes him vulnerable in your eyes is a wonderful addition to my own thoughts. Thanks for bringing this up! *goes and cuddles her little Draco Baby in this dark, frightening forest* *rofl*

As for the second pic: After your comment I tried to change it. You are right: Harry's scar is mostly shown with only 3 lines. I changed it and it looked better, or at least more Harry. With the yellowish/brownish instead of the white background, I tried it but took the "cold" feeling away. I made the border of the image black and this framed the pic more. Maybe you can tell me what you think now, please???

I'm really overwhelmed by your long review. It helps me a lot!!

Your artwork is so fantastic I had to literally pull my fingers away from the keyboard otherwise I would have gone on forever!

Another think about the first picture..he looks slightly like a cross between Charlie Hunnam in Queer As Folk, and Jonathon Rhys Meyers in Velvet Goldmine - that occured to me last night

As for the second picture, the scar looks perfect now. As does the whole picture! I totally agree on the border. I think that it was the way you'd written the text at the bottom got me thinking on the yellowed, but thinking more on it, to lose that sharp crystalline look, with the light blues and whites. It is perfect.

I love your artwork!!! You are so talented. Draco is one of my favorite characters in hp and you capture him so beautifully. I really love both of these pieces, especially the second one. It leaves me breathless. I love their eyelashes, and their hair, and the condensation on Harry's breath, and the fact that their noses are pink from the cold. Oh, yes. Just wonderful. :D I'm friending you , if you don't mind, so that I can keep up with your art. *hugs*

Woww. that*s so lovely of you!! It makes me happy that an image of me can make someone breathless, because *I* am usually the one who becomes breathless by all the wonderful art around me. *blushes a lot* This gives me the confidence I need!
And I'd love to be friended by you! Thank you!
*hugs back*
