I knew microwave popcorn was easier, but . . .

I decided to switch over to making popcorn on the stove, but after reading the instructions, maybe I'll switch back to microwave popcorn:

Heat 2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil and one kernel of popcorn in large, heavy covered pan. After kernel pops, pour in 1/3 cup popcorn (or enough to cover bottom of pan, no more than one kernel deep); recover. ( Read more... )

Just imagine you were renting property. You could release the building by resigning the documents. When it's all done, retreat yourself to some popcorn (by now, unrecovered) unless you feel like recursing.

Do you recall if recovering the lid was too much effort? You must rebuff.

Shake or stir until all is popped
What I want to know is how are you going to stir when the pan's covered.

I did find that odd at first, but then I thought about popcorn pans with built-in stir-ers.

Use Jiffy Pop. Then you can throw the entire pan in the aluminum recycling.

Do they even still make Jiffy Pop? (I'll google it in a second.)

I've thought about buying a popper. I'm tired of all the wasted kernels in microwave popcorn.

They also make containers you can put into the microwave to make popcorn that way -- so, you'll get the cheaper cost of buying just popcorn, but still can use a microwave to pop it. I have a nifty new gas stove, so of course I want to use that!
