you know, as dysfunctional as this place is, and as often as i say "i don't see myself staying here forever," i am not entirely sure i could ever leave southern california.
its those 80 degree january days that win me over really.

sickness.
i have one symptom and it is bugging the hell out of me.
i feel a lot of pressure in my chest. there is no pain, there is no congestion (i cough every once in awhile to check), but it feels like the pressure you would feel when there is congestion. i had a sore throat, but it went away. nothing else. it is kind of annoying to talk though.

diet over exercise, eh?

so i found this article interesting because it says diet has a bigger role in weight loss than exercise. i guess it really does vary from person to person. for me, the first 10 pounds was definitely all about the food i ate and my nutrition. i was alright in the weight range at that point, but nothing spectacular ( Read more... ) -

for quite awhile now, i have been interested in doing some volunteer work abroad. i wanted to do it before i started my current job, but timing wasn't quite right. the economy isn't exactly helping any prospects of a new job, but i think i found a really good solution for the time being.

2008 resolution check
