I finally went to the hospital about my leg pain. I really thought it was nothing too major. I was wrong. I have a fairly large blood clot in my pelvis area. I'm scared to death not only for me but for the unborn baby. The doctor said there was not reason this happened other than.. I'm pregnant, so for the next 27 weeks I have to get 2 shots a day ( Read more... )

I've never dealt with blood clots, but have always been afraid of them. Things will be okay sweetie. They always are aren't they? Take it easy. Please. I'll be praying for you.

Blood clots and pregnancy is apparently one of the few pregnancy things I know absolutely nothing about.

However, that possibly means something good- I've only looked up what can go wrong 5 million times with my girls.

Let the doc take care of you. I love you AJ, and I feel good things are in store for your family with this baby.*snuggles*

I wasn't able to walk, the pain was too much. It started off as a ache while walking but on Wednesday it was so painful, I went to the ER. There are only a few deep veins in the legs. The vein my clot is in is on the left side in the Ilica vien If you take your hand put it in the crease of your leg and stomach thats where I feel most of my pain. I was able to find a picture and add red where the clot is, and my clot is fairly large, so large the doctor thinks there is no risk of me knocking it lose. Hence the reason I'm at home now. Heres the picture... Along with the pain in the leg I was feeling very tired, weak, and every time I stood on the leg I got short of breathe and wanted to pass out that last day. Blood clot is the first thing that the doctor in the ER thought and ordered a sonogram on my leg. It wasn't hard for her to find since it was so large, but since I was such a rare case (Apperently people just don't get clots for no reason like me) I had every doctor in the building looking in on my sonogram. Too bad it hurt so ( ... )
