I find that I am not doing a great job of keeping up with posts. Why is it that I always post more when I am unhappy about something. I went back and skimmed through my old posts, (I've been posting here for several years, so there were a lot) and I post a lot when I am unhappy. That is total bullshit. So, I am a teacher, and I went to my school's homecoming game today. It was a mess. They announced the wrong homecoming queen and king! It was ridiculous, and the sad thing is that I wasn't that surprised. Stuff like this is always happening at our school. We just can't seem to get it together. I have been feeling crappy about my teaching lately. I teach dual credit. I have to teach some pretty big concepts, and yet, I am so often faced with the same simple issues that need fixing in my student's writing.
