Everything's balanced just right between solid and ephemeral, and I think goldfish is my favorite section - the mundane tragedy and very vivid physical description of the fish itself.

Cuddy is an overachiever in every way and to fail at preserving the life of something as small as a fish was interesting to explore. I'm glad I got some stuff right.

The struggle of Cuddy against herself. The beauty of it lies in the fact that she recognizes her flaws and tries to live with them...succeeding ànd failing.
