You don't get to choose your dorm, originally, but if it were really awful, and you had a legitimate reason, I suppose you could request a room change and get switched into a better dorm [to really answer your question though Gardner/Coltrane are pretty bad just because the room's are tiny; the others are okay, really].
+: school size, location, friendly, comfortable, pretty decent on campus food selection compared to some schools [like, my favorite, McAlister's =)], weather [that may be a negative thing to some though, haha], school spirit [?? haha, really just mentioning this because we're going to the I-AA national championship game this friday for the first time ever and everyone's pretty excited!]
not really sure about many negative things... i really really love it here. parking, if you'll have a car here, is probably the biggest annoyance for most students. =)
Anyhow, Bows is right, it's an awesome school that you kind of can't help but like, however, if you get stuck in gardner/coltrane, or frank...I'm sorry for you. The good thing is that they're remodeling the dorms on campus so they'll all be pretty new soon. Doughton's a good co-ed dorm, so maybe you'll get that one.
