flu shot

Nov 29, 2007 20:19

I went and got a flu shot today at lunchtime; never had one before.  Everything I read says it's more recommended for pregnant women.  Side effects if any are supposed to be mild and last only a couple of days.  I feel a lil less than swell now; think I'll go to bed early, for real.  Anyone else get a flu shot?

please watch yourself carefully, adn if you start to feel any sick-er please contact a doctor.
I dont believe in the flu vaccine, but that aside. Anyone I know, who has EVER had the death flu sickness, got it formthe flu shot itself.

watch yourself :)

Thankfully side effects only slight and not long lasting at all. Much better today, only residual is slight soreness in my arm at the location of the shot.

I got my flu shot last month at CVS and felt no side effects from the shot, besides the usual mild muscle ache in the arm. I'm not sure if they did this for all the patients, or just me because I marked I was pregnant on the form, but one of the techs checked up on me 15 minutes after I got the shot to make sure I wasn't having any reactions to it.

I got mine about a week ago. The only side effect I had was a vary mild sore arm (only where they injected, really) that lasted a few hours.

I got a flu shot about a month ago and I had no side affects afterward, not even the sore arm it seems most other people experienced. It's individual.
