Well, another year has come and gone. The new year is upon us. 2014 was successful in its own way, and heartbreaking, and full of change. I graduated, I got a new job in my field, and I met some amazing people. I lost a number of family members and as an extended family we realized we can't keep meeting under bad circumstances. I had a job interview earlier this week at the first place I had applied to. It's a good place, one I've known about for years and it has been a part of the community I grew up in since I was a small child. I'm happy about this. I'm glad to have some enjoyment of my summer, but there is still much to be done. There's job hunting to be followed by packing, moving, and cleaning. There's general cleaning to be done, catching up on the tons of things I haven't had time for in a long time. Yes, school is OUT! My son finished 3rd grade today. I finished the final required bits of school work and am done, though I still have to wait for Sunday for it to officially be over. So much to do, so little time. It's the middle of the term, I'm doing fine (not unexpected). I can't wait to move on from this class, though. Finally called and cancelled the other line on my cell bill. Can't afford it, so it's gone and thankfully got my own bill reduced to something I can handle again, cheaper than pay as you go. Now that other someone can get their own phone, not my responsibility anymore ( Read more... )
