Alfred eats a hamburger as he watches the arrest of Zekarion on the television in his office. The bad guy is captured and justice prevails again! Nevermind the fact that they haven't arrested any of the La Cosa Nostra people...

Munch munch. Once again, the-

Breaking News: The car carrying the recently arrested Zekarion has just exploded! He cannot be found, but the FBI officers involved were killed in the explosion

Alfred's hamburger fell from his hand and onto the ground.

The mayor immediately stood up, not bothering to pick up his hamburger as he rushed out of his office. He ignored all greetings from the people he passed as he swiftly got into his car and drove towards the police station.

Zekarion's body wasn't found and the car carrying him exploded...Who could have caused this? One of the mafia groups? He needs to discuss this with Vorenus...

Arriving at the station, Alfred ran into the building and looked around for Vorenus. "Vorenus!" Searching for the police commissioner, he started to rush towards his office.

[Vorenus, along with the rest of the entire station, were sitting and standing, as they could, in the break room, crowded around the TV. Jaws hung open, and Vorenus was the most silent of all. He pretended to ignore the few glances being cast over at him and simply shook his head.]

[Alfred makes it into the break room, spotting Vorenus and the other officers crowded around the television. Well, it seems that he has heard the news then. Looking the most serious that probably anyone has ever really seen him, the mayor calls the commissioner from the doorway]

Vorenus, we need to talk.

[Lloyd is lounging in his office rather than the break room, trying to stay away from all the hubbub in the break room.

Of course, it doesn't stop him from watching the report on his phone. Who needs TVs?]

[Mumbles, shaking his head after the explosion is reported.] ... Can't say I expected that.

[walks in, not bothering to knock] Got the lab results for me? [Dean's on shift, he hasn't been near the break rooms]

[Pulls out the file, not even looking up from his phone.] Oh, yes, here they are...

[The report starts talking about the FBI setting their dogs loose to search for Zekarion, and Lloyd muses if they'll actually end up finding him after a stunt like that.]

[as he reaches for the file, Dean catches the phone's noise. He blinks] What just happened-?
