Girl, I accidently stumbled across this fic ...and wow.

So miserably depressing and so incredibly written and thought out.

The "I've been hunting you a long time..."

"J. Daitou"

GAH. Fantastic.

Holy fuck sake. That was amazing. Truly suspenseful and wildly amazing. Minako is a cold blooded killer, and it makes so much sense. I mean really it does, she's had two lifetimes of practice, she's seen horrors. That kind of duty, that kind of pressure. It just makes sense.

Seriously amazing. Thank you, this is just the dark grittiness I needed to get back in the swing.

thank you so much! i wholeheartedly agree with you on minako; she's one stone cold bitch when she needs to be. i'm having some trouble with the muse myself, so i'm delighted that you found this inspiring :)

Really fantastic. I love the title and the line it comes from. The Minako/Daitou interactions here, which are so different from Tragedia, are terrific.

The descriptions are so visceral, from how Daitou feels when he's looking at the crime scene photos to when he remembers who he is. Usually the reawakening process is written as such a snap and there isn't any pain or nausea or resistance involved, and I love how strong Daitou's physical reaction was.

I really like the friction between Mamoru and Minako, which is completely believable given their personalities and relationships with Usagi. I also like how Rei is the last one to visit Minako, and while Minako gives her her last orders, she's always two (or a million) steps ahead of everyone. Brilliant and frightening.

thank you so so so much! this was just one of those weird ideas that attacks in the middle of the night, and you just HAVE to write it, so i think that's partially why it came out as viscerally as it did. so pleased you enjoyed it :) i've been meaning to catch up with some of your (amazing) work as well, but things have been crazy busy at my new job - some reviews definitely coming your way, though!

Every single time I read anything of yours! I swear! I thought at first it was Kunzite and didn't think much of the three she killed but then Minako mentions having died for them once already and there was just this...dread and no no no and knowing that those three were shitennou and then Rei and did she disfigure Kunzite, the third who was still the greatest of them all?The subtle things hit hardest ( ... )
