update! dialogue-heavy as always, but i think there's some semblance of a plot in this one, and it may actually be moving forward! a little longer than usual, so please bear with me :/
parts
one,
two, and
three in case you want to catch up!
(
it's getting hot in here, etc. )

It hurts so good.
Seriously, you've outdone yourself with this chapter. There are too many favorite lines I want to quote, so I'll just mark for memories and come back to enjoy.

He built a palace of glass at the crossroads of the Middle and Far Eastern lands, and there he welcomed a guest. The most formidable leader of men in any part of the world, the kingmaker who would change his destiny, though the boy didn’t know that yet.
This line alone. I want to MARRY this line. Or let's just apply the title of "kingmaker" to Kunzite for all time and I will forever be fanning myself in his presence. I love the implication, just like I love all of your near-mythical ideas of how things worked in the SilMil, that it was Kunzite who found the other Shitennou and brought them together.
For Jadeite no longer knows who is the beast, and who is the blade. ( ... )

thank you thank you thank you! that is such a huge compliment! in all honesty, i keep throwing in new things because as much as i'd like to think i have a legit plan, in reality i just keep coming up with crazy shit on the fly - so please let me know if it starts veering into freaky territory, i would absolutely welcome any criticism on flow, pacing, anything.
have a feeling it's going to need some serious revision once it's done :/
