Been on a reprieve from most aggregated social sites like here, FB (shudder) and G+. I still browse now and then, but not as often as I poke about the likes of Twitter. I will post here still and do try and scour friend's posts, just not like I use to.

Had some mid 90 temps here, even a measly 30% or so humidity made it feel much worse! Aside from trying to stay cool, today was productive enough, also got to kick it with the grandparents and have a couple drinks. As prior mentioned, been neglecting this journal. FB, G+ and even Twitter, have been taking up my social reading/writing time. I won't forsake my lovely LJ, I intend to at least post once a week, sometimes more. Most likely it'll be a summary/high lights of what has happened. Sorry if I've been MIA on ICQ (some still use it you know). Basically from what I read, they did some DB maintenance not too long ago and that could prevent users from logging in.  So I am trying to make things work today, liking getting groceries, etc. I unfortunately helped break a friends phone, so this has made things meh atm. :(

Was a very slow bday for me, ended up having a nice dinner with friends family to celebrate it. Nothing extra amazing happened, but it went well enough.

While work has given me some FT seasonal stuff, I am looking towards other things to work in the very near future. As for my car, the cat problem got fixed, only to have an overheating issue arise. Oi!!

Went to go see it with skyjay today and it turned out to be worth the matinee price. While the ending was not completely original (what truly is now these days), the build up and small twists went along nicely. It had mild suspense, was not shaking you around left & right and had this ambiguous feel to it all. That built up tension and gotcha thinking ( Read more... )
