Man, but I miss Vince's comic. Seems to be a glue that held a lot of people together on here - you'd stop by to check it out, check your friend's posts, comment.....
Hmm....wonder if he planned it that way? I always thought that the government should pay flashmobbers to go around to places and do cool, unusual things. I 'm pretty sure you've seen the sound of music flashmob in belgim's antwerp station, but just in case....(Gawd, I posted a porn link first....interesting what seems to persist in one's memory buffers, isn't it?)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EYAUazLI9k
Could you not have a smile on your face if you saw something like that?
Like I said on the end of I.S.O. it really did mark the end of an era. Funny how something like that can bring so many people together and really make a community, eh? At least we have the memories! And and... fan works! For the future! Yeah! :3
*nods* You ain't kidding. Isn't that also why a lot of members also decided not to post anything or use LJ after ISO went. But at least there are still some folks who use LJ. But I'm grateful ISO existed in the first place. It's what got friends to find each other in the first place. I should know. XD
Yeah, it did at that. I find it quite strange at how amenable his readers all seem to be. Normally, they're quite friendly, accomadating and intelligent readers, I've found. And quirky as well, like that prof I heard about that taught the metallurgical chemistry students to make a quarter into some kind of thermite bomb that melted the parking metres around their uni daily...:)
