I woke up this morning with a URL in my head. I have no idea where it came from, but it was this: martianpeopleforget.com. It does not exist; I checked. What it is Martian people forget or why thy forget it I don't know, but apparently they do.

Some people claim that Japanese is one of the hardest languages in the world for an English speaker to learn. In general I would disagree with that. It's really not that difficult grammatically, nor is the vocabulary too difficult to learn. Writing takes a lot of work and is much harder than learning an alphabet of 20-30 characters as most western ( Read more... )

I've never been this busy so far this year. I got up and went to class on Monday, and after class at 2:30pm started working on a programming assignment. I didn't stop except for a quick supper until I finished at about 2:30am. Then I was back at school for a 10:00 class and was there until 10pm because I have class all day plus night class. I've got a pile of work to get through this week. There's a big assignment for one of my CS classes that was supposed to be due on Tuesday, but thankfully the deadline was moved back to Friday. Yesterday I took part in an imitation of Amazing Race around Saskatoon. I was on a team of 6, and we had a bunch of checkpoints we had to stop at, with a task to do and a clue to the location of the next one.
