A lot of my blog posts are written when I'm feeling down, or miserable, or whatever. It's natural to need to rant about things when they're not going well. So here's a blog post when things have been working out well. It seems that rambling is something I can do when feeling up or down :P

Dear brain. I know you work well to deadlines, but that doesn't mean that you can shut off until just before a deadline. This doesn't have to be stressful or a mad panic. But it will be. Sometimes, you are not my friend.

I've just finished a second pair of socks from a ball of lovely wool. And I've made them too small. Dagnabbit. That'll teach me to remember about gauge when looking at patterns (which I did), then remembering to actually do something about it (which I didn't).

The next free evening might be spent unravelling and balling up wool.

I have another cold. It sucks. I think my body is trying for some kind of record. However, this record might well be stymied by all the people who have had glandular fever, flu and mumps. I think I'll be happy to not take the record actually ( Read more... )

It's Christmas! I'm really excited, and running around like a headless chicken. Actually, not like a headless chicken at all, because that is currently in the oven and smelling lovely!

Yay Christmas - my most disorganised yet!
