If anyone is interested in reading my fathers obituary it is in the newspaper in Springfield Union (although this paper made a few mistakes, but now we don't have to pay for it), Hartford Currant, and Journal Inquirer. It is also online at http://
My dad use to say my prayers with me everynight before I went to sleep. I have been spending a lot of time with my family looking at pictures and reminanising. We have been putting together a collage for the funeral. It has been tough but good. My dad is still alive. Not eating much, sleeping a lot, his hands and feet are really starting to

Dad was put into hospice today. For everyone who does not know what that is it basically means they keep him comfortable until he passes. The will slowly start taking everything away from him like his meds and he will slip into a deeper and deeper sleep until he is gone. They said it could take hours to a couple of weeks. It was doing so well

Dad is home, he is strong enough to be home with a visiting nurse and a hospital bed in our living room. He is going to stay on a pretty high dose of the medication for now and they are going to watch the swelling in his brain. The hope to eventually be able to lower it. We are just taking one day at a time.
He has step four cancer you can't get any higher then that, that I know of. Things aren't looking good. He will have to stay on a wicked high dose of the meds but will get no stronger and if he is off the meds he can't really function. He will not be coming home, atleast not for awhile. I am too tired and drained to write much more right now.
