We finally moved into our new home. We haven't got all of our stuff yet; however....that is another long story. We did get most of what was at my mother-in-law's house. I am so excited we got the house! I cried when the realtor told me. We won the bid at 173,500. We offically close wednesday. Wow....I am a home owner.

We are now in a bidding war with another offer made on the house. So we raised our offer and should know something by this afternoon. If we get the house, we hopefully will close on the 22nd.....yes next wednesday. Wish us luck.

We should be hearing back from the bank in the next day or two whether or not they accepted our offer on the new house. They are taking their sweet time. However, hopefully we will hear something soon ( Read more... )

I am really in a hateful mood. I hate my mother-in-law with all my guts and I stop hearing in my head how much I hate her. I hope she dies a horrible death! Yes I hate her and I can't wait to move out.

Buying a house is a lot of work....especially when it is an 80 year old house. We signed papers for an offer and gave an earnest money check the the realtor. I also have the inspector coming out wednesday morning, termite guy wednesday afternoon, and a roofer tomorrow at noon. My husband and I went looking at houses today to buy. We found the greatest house in Kirkwood for 170,000. We have also been approved for a mortgage as well @ 6%. I am really excited we are buying a home. I also just got a part time just so I can raise money for school....I got accepted for Georgia State! It has been a great week.

It is nice to have my husband back to work. He is just doing part time while going to physical therapy. I will be glad when that is over.....the pt part....LOL ( Read more... )

I had the worst migrane last night around 3am. I couldn't even lay my head on the pillow, that is how much it hurt. It also made me toss my cookies....fun. Luckily I feel better now. YAY

I am doing good especially with the weather so nice. My husband Andrew went back to work today and is physical therapy as well. He had broken his neck for those that don't know. I have been losing weight and exercising since I gained weight when my husband was in the hospital ( Read more... )
