You run up pretty hard against arrogance when you attend a private school.  When it’s a school that has Belmont’s reputation, this notion increases tenfold.  Students often think that because they made it into such a known college, they have already made it in life.  It’s as though they’ve “arrived.”

A little under a year ago, I wrote a pair of entries on Facebook that actually changed my own life, probably forever. Those entries were the beginning of a fantastic change in my life.
