I had to burn off my anxieties regarding HBP and the future of Snape so I did a portrait of him. Behold him in all his scowling glory. The BG is a more or less successful attempt at his home Spinner's End.

Very nice! The shoulders seem a bit... off to me (minor critique, though) and his scowl is amazing! I especially like the detail to his hair, too.

Beautiful, moody and dark picture. I like the subdued coloring. My critique is one I have with a lot of Snape pix--where's the hooked nose? The scowl and eyebrows are wonderfully crabby, but he's got such a little nose, and it might even turn up a bit at the end. It's still a good picture, though.

I love the corner of his eyes and the dark shadows underneath. And I'm glad you gave him some books in Spinner's End.

Wow, that's amazing! You have phenomenal art skills, every line is so beautifully scpulted, you've managed to make Snape so attractive and kept him canon too! Myfavourite detail is the dark circles under his eyes.
