Amended my flight to travel ahead of the snow predicted for Wednesday, booked the cab, sorted some stuff I need to get done by the end of the month...all looking good. Some promising leads on the room situation, so seeing how that goes

Once again I'm really sorry about the room thing. I honestly blame my previous employer.

Just so's I have more than one copy, when's this new flight supposed to be?

I'm due to land at 14:15, though of course there might be delays, and I have to go through immigration and baggage reclaim (though the latter is usual quick given one's spent time doing the former)

So probably won't be through til 14:45 at the earliest I expect. I can always text you once I get there and let you know of progress.

Don't worry about the room thing - I've spotted an artist (kaiven) offering 2 room spaces (although might just be til Sunday evening) and have asked for details.

If the worst comes to the worst, I can cover the cost of the room, lots more space that way :D

Need to speak to you about your thoughts of getting to the con etc. If I do keep the room, obviously I'd give you space there - might save you on parking if Es keeps the car and you can hang out at the con?

Thank you for being so understanding about the room. I can drive to the con, but the place I found to park is several blocks away.

I don't just vouch for Kaiven, but I utterly love her. She's a fantastic artist and she rocks. She'd be good people to stay with.

I don't have the option to rebook. I have a special fare ticket. Also I live far from London, so I'd need to alter my train down there as well, and the hotel for Wednesday night. I just need to cross my fingers and hope it does appear. :/

The cat's name is toby and belongs to a friend...the cat is very insistant on sitting on shoulders, and he's heavy!
