i'm pretty sure the neighbor cat is using my flower boxes as a litter box.  i've never actually caught her in the act but she's a mainly out door cat. i've tried everything and nothing's working! i even put mothballs in them last night. i think that actually just made her dig more.  so frustrating!  i don't know how to ask someone to keep their ( Read more... )

i think christy and martha stewart have talked me into have a backyard bday party.  i'm thinking of making it fancy though...well not fancy. just really pretty.  ha.  not a paper plate bbq is what i'm getting at here!  punch in glass jars, fancy sandwiches on (homemade by me!) platters...etc etc ( Read more... )

i am rather confused as to why my house is so small but my to-do list so big.

this weekend i really need to tackle the back yard as it has been rather neglected in the last month of front yard work.  i bought a new lawn mower this week so i should be able to kick ass on it!  except for the weeds...oh my the weeds.....i just want a patio home!

i brought lilly home with me this morning!  midge was not too happy though.  she went straight to hiding under the bed.  lilly is such a bully.  so guess we have to work on that!
back to full household...should be interesting...

i got new bookshelves this weekend.  there is nothing i love more than organizing my books so it was a great way to spend a sunday night. 
unfortunately i've now got room for about 6 new books and i'll need another shelf already! but i did get them all up off the floor and various parts of my house.
