It's not possible to support the troops but not the mission. The mission is the reason for being a soldier. If you don't support the reason, you don't support the result.

What kind of crap is that?

Everyone in the military volunteered to be in the military. Many volunteered after the start of the war. So the idea they are just pawns being manipulated is both patently false and completing degrading.

Besides, to not support the mission is to hope the mission fails. To hope the mission fails is to hope the soldiers fail. To hope the soldiers fail is inherently unsupportive.

So the Left needs to stop lying to everyone. The good news is they've stopped lying to themselves, so we can expect them to publicly come clean in short order.

I don't understand the logic behind this :
"Besides, to not support the mission is to hope the mission fails."If you support hte mission, you hope it succeeds. If you do not support the mission, how can you maintain any sort of intellectual honesty by saying "Well, I don't support it, but I hope it succeeds." You can't ( ... )

I'm more than a little sickened by this, but here's my take on political statements and drawing massive attention to yourself.

If they don't have the guts to show your face, they are a coward and don't have any actual convictions. If they believed in what they were doing, they's show their faces and take whatever heat may come of their actions, instead of hiding behind a mask. Until then, they are childish and don't deserve to be spit on if they accidentaly set themselves on fire.
