I just spent a lovely week in Monroe NC sewing and catching up with old friends. I got my sewing mojo back. It was great.

Going to the Goodwill
I have everything that is going to the Goodwill out of 2 rooms. It filled my tiny car. So the living room and dining room are pretty clear for "stuff we are not hoarding anymore." Still bad for building supplies and stuff that needs done ( Read more... ) -
New roommate
There's going to be a new roommate. His name is Chuck. He's a real nice guy. Very friendly.
His entire extended family thinks we are perfect for each other and that we should get together. I agree. And I'm stunned that they all think we could have something together.

My weight and other things
A while back, my doctor told me I was in danger of becoming diabetic because of my weight. Until then I had zero interest in losing weight. They told me to come back in August for more tests ( Read more... ) -

I have found a sander which does not hurt my hands when used for short periods of time. Very good.
My thumb operation was good. Still training that hand a bit.
My new head meds are a bit better. I get up earlier now.

basement
Miss Thing came back and picked up some more of her things. Still some left. She had a huge attitude and ran into hysterics. Claims some of her stuff is missing. Gave me back my busted computer without a word. I am never doing this again.

sander
I finally found a sander that doesn't bother my carpal tunnel too much. I limit my time using it and so projects take more time. But its a thing and I'm willing to do it.
