Chicken Posterity Digested

My chicken dish turned out to be more than edible. I was happy with the onion/garlic/tomato combo but less than impressed with the chicken itself. All the seasoning I dressed it up with seemed to have vanished. Nonetheless, I am now full and content.

Also, I am now slightly more experienced and less fearful of using the oven. My unfounded notion of ( Read more... )

I'm without oven until I move at the end of August, and I miss it a lot. I find that I keep drying meat out on the frying pan in the interest of making sure it's cooked through.

This has caused me to eat more steak and less chicken than usual!

I love cooking with an oven. This may be embarassing, but ... I was thinking the other day that the place I rent has to have a nice oven. I really want a convection oven. Then I realized I was becoming Suzzy Homemaker. Since when does a convection oven rank up there with the must haves in an apartment? What's wrong with me?
