I am having a blast, but I'm missing things too--Ellie's wedding, and Jeff and Jessi got engaged and I'll prbly miss that wedding, and likely yours as well : /

I am glad I finally managed to stop just talking about living in Japan, and actually manged to move here. ^_^

Allow me to kite in through Sidra's friend's list and offer you my best wishes. May your marriage be long and happy. You have already learned something that takes some married people years to learn. When it really gets down to it, your spouse/significant other comes FIRST on the list of priorities. What others want can be taken into consideration, but when all is said and done, you have to defend your self, your life, and your relationship first.

There are times in your life where the opinion of the outside world will matter, I'm sure. When it comes to your happiness, the outside world and it's myriad opinions (including mine) can go to hell. Listen to your head and your heart, if you feel so inclined consult your inner cats and dogs, and if they say that this is what you neeed, want, or like, then take it and pay whatever price you pay. Things, times, people that are worth your emotional investment will be investments, you will give up one thing to get another, but that should never dissuade you from jumping into them. May your relationship be a project to build in times of idleness, a wellspring of distraction and affection in times of boredom, and a source of support in times of stress.

Very happy news to me, tell John he's a lucky man, the rest of us certainly think so.
