I think it was a list done by the BBC...or so my friend pages tell me. Maybe they were picked by readers and that`s why the random and stupid inclusion of things like the Da Vinci Code. *shudders*
I have read 26, not counting several I was forced to read at school but have largely forgotten. And I take pride in my claim that I can never remember which of Jane Eyre and Jane Austen is real and which is the fictional character....
The Time Traveller's Wife is not the first book I started reading under the impression it was SF, only to discover to my horror that it was Literature, but exceptional in that I finished it anyway.
I think Charlotte's Web should have an '18' certificate, much more traumatic for children than most 'adult' stuff.
