Snow, not petals
It`s snowing! First snow of the season, or so I`ve been told since I was gone a lot of January. It`s cold and I wanna go home and sit under the kotatsu, and wait for psych to come online.

Why
Yesterday, I heard from a coworker that a boy in our church has cancer and is in the hospital. He`s 4-years-old. The last time I saw him, before they moved to Yokohama, he was running around, playing hide-and-seek and yelling at the top of his lungs. Now...
I don`t know what to say or think. I simply pray. -
Productivity?
After having Saturday and Monday with no classes, and yet being forced to come into work (Monday we could take off, but our boss didn't know/didn't care to tell us), I wrote 2 tests and formatted another one. Swallowtail
I have to write this down before I forget all the little things that happened today!
yurusanai_yatsu and seraphin_kaegan met earlier and waited in line to make a reservation at Swallowtail (for those unenlightened it is a famous butler cafe in Ikebukuro). A wonderful end to a wonderful day [/end sarcasm]
Whilst I was shopping at Kasumi (local grocery store), my bike got stolen. How am I to survive in Japan without a bike?? And how does my bike not get stolen when I left it for 2 days in front of the station when I was in Kyoto, but get stolen when I was in the store for 15 minutes? Wonders never cease. -
Weirdest experience ever
I get back from church today and 2 ladies knock on my door, and then invite themselves in. Sadly my house was not clean...yeah, so they just stood on the landing and evangelized to me. I tried to tell them in broken Japanese that I already went to church, and it came out that they were offering a 2 for 1 on gods I think, since they were saying ( Read more... ) -

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but when I'm sent an email that says my cousin has a wedding website that she will update regularly until the wedding, I long for the days when people just told you what they were doing instead of posting it for the whole world to see on the internet. Precocious 12-year-olds
One of the teachers who teaches the first year advanced had a family emergency and had to leave before class ended yesterday. This meant that I had to take his advanced 1st year class.
