As I recall, I promised to post up some pictures of stuff that I had made for Samantha (and myself, a little). I'm finally getting around to it. There are a couple different things to note here.
1) The lovely white/plaid outfit my MiL sewed for Samantha.

Wow, that's amazing. The matching coat, scarf, hat and muff and the blanket sets are all so pretty. And, funnily enough, I used to have a dress in that same plaid pattern (very similar style, too, though mine was all plaid, without the white blouse) when I was 11 or so. :-)

I love the blanket, too...I made it exactly like mine, except a whole lot smaller. My MiL is making Samantha a nightgown that matches one that I own, so that'll be cool, too. *hugs*

Awwwww!!! She is a beauty! That dress is so cute! And your coat/hat/scarf/muff set is amazing!!! As are the blankets!!! I hope she brings you MUCH joy!!

Thanks! I think she's simply gorgeous, but I've been madly in love with her since I was 10, so there you go! I'm having far too much fun tucking her in at night (she currently sleeps on the couch) and then getting her up in the morning, etc. I'm glad you like my handiwork, too! I just hope that she likes it (egads, I'm talking as if my doll had feelings...nah, that doesn't make me crazy!)
