And just for the record, Pedro Almodovar is one of my favorite filmmakers of all time. He is a visionary. Love him.

He's weird like that...senting me random stuff - but I love it!
Pedro Almodovar - I'll look him up!
I actually just watched this AMAZING movie - CONTROL. about Ian Curtis. I love Joy Divison...so this was awesome.
I've been wanting to watch it, but it was only showing in the UK...so I got it on DVD and am in love with it. It's inspiring to me...which may sound odd if you saw the movie...espeically if you know Ian's history & what happens at the end - but I won't spoil it for you.

oh, ok, got it. I was all jealous, because I wanted a custom-made list of recommended movies too! haha
He's a Spanish-language film maker, and pushes a lot of boundaries. My personal favorite is Bad Education (La Mala Educacion)...it's stunning. And a lot of his films deal with strong women, and are female driven. So it's kind of nice to see that, since movies today seem to only have girls as sex objects. Kind of sad. So anyway, if you look into his work, I hope you like him :]
I'm definitely looking that one up. Now. Haha. I'm not really familiar with Ian Curtis, and the way you describe it sounds really intriguing. Guess I'm off to Hollywood Video now...!
