Stray cat - Part three =^.^=

Part One
Part TwoGot home last night and took the kitty over to the animal shelter. They took my id-information and started logging in the cat. The nice lady at the shelter scanned it for a microchip. Apparently, the kitty was a boy, four years old, and his name was Romeo (no surprise, with how loving he was). He belonged to a person named Kenneth ( Read more... )

the cat was probably dumped if it didn't have a collar. The owner probably forgot about the microchip.

Some cats (such as my parents' orange tabby Simba) just will not have anything to do with a collar. If you can manage to get one on him, he goes crazy trying to get it off. Also, none of my cats wear collars either, even though I know at least one of them wouldn't care.

You did the right thing, Zia. For all we know, the cats family might have been going crazy with worry trying to find their cat for who knows how long.
