The ring was a remake of a Japanese movie, and I believe that the original Japanese makers also made a sequel. (Doesn't mean this one will be good, I'm just say'n.)

No problem on the LJ-Cut, it is a handy thing to know.

I've been wondering where you've been on Mondays. Tie (Ty?) Made it out Monday for the first time in weeks.

Hollywood has the idea that they should "improve" upon the movie and screw things up I have no problem with the Japanese Ringu and Ringu 2 they are OK and deserve praise for being good horror flicks as well as Ringu 0 the prequel that hopefully Hollywood will forget about and leave alone... Hollywood doesn't improve things they make them crapy... The amount of original thought that goes into what goes on there is evidenced when the city itself attempted to sue Hollywood, MN for use of the name... "Hollywood" lost because the MN town has been around longer ... Hollywood wants to claim things as their own which they have no real business claiming... Maybe I'm a losing it and shouldn't spout so much venom about a system that if all goes well I will be working in but the lack of originality makes my brain go a squishy
