Today has been nice. I woke up relaxed, went into the kitchen, made some coffee, and just sat by the window for a while talking with my parents. Around 11 I decided to organize the pile of papers that has been on my desk for more than two months. I transferred all the college letters to a folder that previously held, among other things, ( this )

Haha, that Channel One thing reminded me of a lengthy newspaper article I read about this time last year that called for its removal from our schools. Frankly, I thought it was somewhat....commercialized, if you know what I mean.

I made a petition to get a teacher fired. it was reasonable. we wanted her out on grounds of incompetancy and inability.

all but 13 of the kids who had her as a teacher signed. the principal tore it up in my face and tried to suspend me for disrespect.

fight the power. or something like that.

and channel one was almost as bad as fox news. only they used smaller words and didn't wear suits.

but at the time, I liked it.

and yeah, i thought it was better than nothing--and certainly better than andy griffith, which was supposedly teaching us 'good character.'

oh man.. you know him? shit... he, he was my best friend in elementary school... we had a fight in third grade over something stupid... i didn't talk to him much after that and then he moved away.... i missed him so much... wow, i haven't seen him in so long... i wonder if he's still the same John...

i dont know, since our friendship ended on a rather sour note i'm not sure how contacting him would go. i want to but i don't. you know what i mean? dang.... i know! when you see her, would you mind asking his mom if she remembers me? tell her to tell him that i said hi... please. thanks. <3
